1. Click on the "plot list" of the cemetery to find the name and plot number are looking for
2. Click on the "layout" of the cemetery to download the plot plan. You may have to rotate and enlarge the view on your computer in order to read it.

Record keeping in the distant past was not as well maintained as now. In addition, the Sheraden cemetery is over 120 years old and many records from years ago may either be inaccurate, incomplete, or missing. The information shown is as accurate as can be expected. The plot layouts were copiedin PDF form in about 2009 and will not be updated online, however the master copy will be kept current. The online plot lists will be kept up to date. Please let the cemetery office know of any additional information or corrections you may have about a specific grave or listing.

Directions:
It's best to put one of the above addresses into your GPS, but if you still need driving directions: Take the Parkway West (I-376) toward downtown. Cross the Ft. Pitt Bridge, staying in the right lane. Follow it to North Carson St. Turn right turn onto Carson Street (Route 837 North). Continue for approximately 2 miles. Turn left on Corliss St. and continue through the Corliss Tunnel to Chartiers Avenue. Bear right at light, continuing on Chartiers Avenue. Pass Greenway Middle School. At stop sign, turn right and cross over a small bridge. Turn left off of the bridge, staying on Chartiers Avenue.
For lower gate: Continue on Chartiers Avenue, down hill approximately 1/2 mile. Cemetery is on right side.
For the upper gate: At stop sign past fire station, turn right onto Allendale Street and continue to Faust Street. Turn left onto Faust Street and follow to end. The cemetery is on right side.

There are three identifiers for each plot, for example, "45-D-3". The first number indicates the section. There are four quadrents in each section, "A", "B", "C" and "D". Each quadrent has four plots numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Directions
Take Washington Blvd. to Allegheny River Blvd. Turn left (staying in the right lane) to cross the Highland Park bridge. Follow the signs for Rt. 28 south toward Pittsburgh. Exit at Rt. 8 North. Take Rt. 8 North approximately 11.3 miles to Gibsonia Road (Orange belt, Route 910 West). Turn left onto Route 910 West and continue approximately 8/10 of a mile to Meridian Road. Turn right onto Meridian Road and continue for approximately one mile. The cemetery is on the right side.

Follow Route 279 North to Route 79 North, exit #20, to Route 910 East, exit #73 (old exit #22). Continue on Route 910 East for approximately 8.2 miles to Meridian Road. Turn left onto Meridian Road and continue for approximately one mile. The cemetery is on the right side.
